Frequently Asked Ticket Questions

What can I do if I bought all Adult tickets and some of them should have been Child, Student or Senior tickets?
Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds for choosing the wrong price level ticket.  PLEASE be careful when selecting seats and make sure you choose the right price level.

What age do you consider Child, Student and Senior tickets?
Children are ages 12 and under, Students are ages 13-22 and Senior citizens are ages 60 & up.

How many do you have to have in your party to receive the group discount of 10%?
Ten or more is considered a group.  All groups 10 or more will automatically receive the 10% discount when purchasing your tickets online.  You will see the discount amount applied to your total.

How soon should I purchase my tickets?
We suggest, as soon as you know which performance you would like to see, please follow our BUY TICKETS NOW link on our website and purchase tickets.  All sales are on a first come first serve basis. If you want specific seats to any of the performances buy early to insure that you get the seats that you want.  Please note our performances do sell out.

Why is there a $3.00 processing fee charged on each ticket?
The processing fee covers the cost to fulfill ticket requests when tickets are purchased online, by phone or in person.  This fee includes services such as processing and maintaining orders on our secure ticketing system, coordinating with the box office staff, purchasing and/or maintaining of access management equipment.

What happens if I can no longer attend and would like a REFUND for my ticket purchase?

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.  We regret that no refunds can be made.  All sales are final upon receipt of cash, check or authorized credit card number.  If you would like to donate the tickets back to VBC for re-sale, please let us know, so we can get the appropriate information for your charitable tax donation.

Performances always begin promptly as scheduled. If you are late, you will be seated at an appropriate point by one of our usher staff. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds or price adjustments if you arrive late for a performance.

When purchasing tickets, you have the option to select “Print at Home” or “Mobile Phone”.

  • If you choose “Print at Home”, you will receive an e-mail with a link to your tickets.  Please print the tickets at home and bring them on the day of the performance.
  • If you select “Mobile Phone”, the tickets will go to your mobile device.
  • If you have trouble printing or can’t find your tickets (either to print or on your phone), come the Box Office on the day of the performance.  We will be able to look up your tickets and print them for you.

Helpful Tip: Please arrive early if you are unsure if you have any ticket issues.

No problem. If you have lost or forgotten your tickets, please visit the box office to receive replacement tickets.

Do you have wheelchair accommodations at the theatre?
The Ernst Community Cultural Center has 12 available wheelchair spaces in the theatre.  If you need to purchase a wheelchair seat, please call our office staff and they will contact the Box Office Staff on your behalf.  Please give us at least 72 hours notice for wheelchair seats.

Please note:  Accessible seating is an open space to specifically accommodate a wheelchair and assumes the patron is coming in a wheelchair.  If you need a “seat”, you will want to select the regular seats.  If you need help getting to your seats, we recommend seats in the back of the house on an aisle.  If you’d like assistance in picking these seats, you may call the office and they will contact the Box Office Staff on your behalf.

Do your wheelchair accessible seats have seats next to them for my companion?
The Ernst Community Cultural Theatre does provide companion seating.  These seats are either in the row directly in front of or behind the wheelchair seats.  If you prefer to sit in a seat next to a wheelchair, please contact us so we can discuss potential available options.  We can arrange to sell you a “wheel chair” seat and plan to put a folding chair in that place for you to sit in.  When you contact the office, they contact the Box Office Staff on your behalf.  Please allow 72 hours notice for wheelchair seats and wheel chair companion seats.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email after purchasing my tickets. What can I do?
Please check your spam folder or other email account that may be associated with your Vendini purchase.  If you are still having problems and need to verify that your purchase was completed, please email vbcoffice@vaballet.org and they will contact the Box Office staff on your behalf.

When will the doors open before the performance?
Usually, 30 minutes before the performance start time.
