Join VBC as we return to the theater live on stage for a magical holiday tradition! Enjoy the festivities of Clara’s party. See the Nutcracker come to life and Clara help defeat the Mouse King. Journey through the icy forest as beautiful snowflakes whirl about and then join Clara when visions of sugar plums delightfully entertain in the Kingdom of Sweets.

La Sylphide

SPRING 2022 

A young Scotsman is lured from his bride on his wedding day by a sylph, the most enchanting of all spirits. Be transported to the misty Scottish Highlands where witches weave spells and every loch and glen teems with fairy folk. Follow lovestruck James as he leaves his fiancée and plunges headfirst into a world of magic. Stunning choreography, captivating characters, and romance await in VBC’s upcoming production of La Sylphide.

Enjoy an afternoon filled with a dynamic array of dancing that celebrates the perpetual evolution and movement of dance. With varying genres including classical ballet, modern, contemporary, flamenco, jazz and afro-cuban, this performance evolves every year, giving audiences a delightful taste of a variety of dance styles.

Conditions of Sale

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. In the event of a cancellation for which there is no rescheduled date, a refund for the ticket may be issued at the option of VBC and may not include ticketing fees (i.e. ticketing fees, shipping fees, etc.). The resale of event tickets for more than its face value without the written consent of VBC is prohibited by law. With your ticket purchase you assume all risk and danger incidental to the exhibition, event, or performance whether occurring prior to, during, or after said show. With your ticket purchase you assume all risk and danger of being injured and you agree that VBC, its agents and the performers are not responsible or liable for any injuries resulting from attending the performance. No alcohol, drugs, weapons, food, or glass containers allowed. No recording devices, still camera or video cameras permitted. No transmission or aiding in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event, performance, or exhibition without written consent of VBC. You hereby consent to the reasonable search for alcoholic beverages, drugs, or weapons. With your ticket purchase you further consent to the use of your image or likeness incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. VBC reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by VBC to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein.

Note: It is solely at the discretion of VBC management, that the Box Office may issue an exchange for other events or performance.  Any exchange requests must be sent in writing to vbcoffice@vaballet.org with the subject line VBC Ticket Action within 1 week of the performance date/start time.
